What is a Pullback?

A pullback is a pause or moderate drop in price from recent peaks that occur within a continuing uptrend (after a run). The term pullback is usually applied to pricing drops that are relatively short in duration – for example, a few consecutive red candles – before the uptrend resumes.

What is a Run?
A run is when the price is going in the same direction as the trend, before a pullback occurs, for example, a few consecutive green candles – before the pullback.
